World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrade of items is a crucial aspect of preparing your character. Upgrades increase the base damage as well as the enchantments of items.
They also offer bonus effects and enhancements. They can be acquired from the Blacksmith.
The upgrade button is available on any item. Each recycled item adds a level to the gauge for upgrading.
Weapon
When a weapon is upgraded, it is granted an initial damage bonus and a scaling factor that can affect other stats. The weapon may also gain a variety of upgrade components that offer additional features or effects and some even have distinctive cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be put into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools, and they generally require that the equipment have an available upgrade slot and meet certain requirements. If a weapon piece has an upgrade component in it, it is able to be upgraded, but the prior upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be retrieved using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool, or using a salvage tool of high-end quality on the item itself.
A weapon can also be upgraded to include a calibration attribute that increases certain stats, like Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is accomplished through the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. Depending on the weapon tier, this can be done up to four times.
Once the weapon is at maximum upgrade, it can be reforged with a number of different types of upgrades to increase specific stats or add other bonuses and effects. These upgrades can be used simultaneously, and their effects will depend on how rare the weapon is.
There are two Blacksmiths in the game who can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area and Smithing Master Iji in the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. The upgrade materials are both different: Smithing Stones to modify the kind of damage weapon does and Somber Smithing Stones to modify the standard weapons.
In general, it's advisable to upgrade your weapon damage first. Then, you can upgrade your armour defense and finally, the secondary stats that are required by your build. It is not uncommon to see melee Druids upgrade their weapons before upgrading any other equipment. This will increase DPS. This is especially true for enchantments that can increase a weapon's stats as well as damage.
Armor
Item Upgrades let players increase the stats base of specific pieces of armor, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades can also have other effects, such as an increase in damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item Upgrades are available by crafting, buying from NPC vendors, loot drop or as quest rewards.
The armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. Most of the time an item of armor will be upgraded to the next level once an upgrade is applied. This is the case for all types of armor, but certain types of armor cannot be upgraded in any way (such as the starter armor in Great Sky Island).
Most armor upgrades increase the item's defense or strength by just a little. However, some upgrade components can offer significant increases to strength or defense, especially when upgrading an item that is epic.
Some upgrades provide special abilities that can be activated while wearing armor. These abilities can be helpful in combat, for instance providing a boost to attack speed or blocking. Some upgrades also provide useful passive effects, like reducing the amount of damage that is taken while wearing armor or adding the ability to deflect attacks.
Upgrades to armor may require multiple attempts, based on the type of armor. If a player wants to upgrade Steelclash armor to Dragonscale, then the first attempt will result in a new Dragonscale armor with the defense base ranging from 59 to 67. The second attempt would result in a new Dragonscale armor with a base defense between 67-77 and so on.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players to upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To do this, players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains located in the game. Each location has a powerful fair who can upgrade a piece of armor for you.
Contrary to what many believe, armor is not useless in The Division 2. The truth is that certain armors provide significant enhancements to poison or curse, fire or magic damage reduction, making them very useful for certain types of builds. There are item upgrades to improve armor stats besides upgrading the armor, for instance using the engineer trait to increase armor penetration or the challenger trait to decrease total weight.
Potion
By putting a potion in the brewing stand, you can unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a brand new tier of potion effect, and can be repeated to get more tiers of potency.
The potions also gain the ability to select a custom color that can be selected by the player via /give. The color will affect the clouds that affect the area of effect as well as the arrows that are generated. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion color is also applied to the particle effects of the potions.
The water bottle, mundane and thick potions as well as awkward potions, now have a different the texture of brewing. In the Creative Inventory potion healing and weakness are now available. Added lingering potions that can be brewed with splash potions or dragon breath and a strong potion that has the status effect of Mining Fatigue (duration 4:45). Trinket
A trinket is an inexpensive piece of jewelry. This can be a ring, necklace or even a small flag to identify a vessel's lateen yard. This can also refers to the trinket with gilded gold that is connected to the mast of a boat.
This macabre trinket appears to be influencing the inhabitants of this maze by making them more common. At present, this trinket makes all kinds of mimic Xx more prevalent and gives every floor a Y% chance to contain an ebony-colored mimic. Upgrades to this trinket will cost an amount of energy.
The magic from this enchanted scepter seems to influence the dungeon and making it more likely to generate grass and water. This trinket, at its current level, will cause X% of regular floors to be filled with water or grass. It doesn't affect enchantments, glyphs, cursed weapons or armor, or items that are generated to help solve hazards rooms.
Although it appears to be a normal newt's eye, this mysterious object appears to be affecting your vision in ways other than merely reducing your field of view. This trinket, at its current level, increases the health benefits of drinking healing potions and wells of life by X% and grants mind sight on enemies within the Y tile. This trinket cannot be combined with the Increased Senses.
Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after you have completed the Mastery Cave. You will find them when you defeat Monsters, and in chests and crates. They can't be found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
Place the trinket in the Anvil when it needs to be upgraded. This will have a random effect on the trinket, either prolonging its life or strengthening its effects. You can reforge the Trinket as often as you'd like, but it will always have a new effect.
You can upgrade your Trinkets at the Alchemy Station by placing them into a Magical Catalyst. It will cost you 6 energy and increase the power of the trinket by only a tiny amount.
